We aim to make available to every mother the health and educational resources she needs to create and nurture a successful breastfeeding relationship with her child. At the same time, we strive to educate each woman about the importance of preventative health measures. The track record we've accumulated speaks to our commitment to patients, their families, and the community at large. We'd love to see you today to map out a breastfeeding plan that's tailored to your health history and specific needs.
Trish has been a nurse for the past 12 years. With a background in geriatrics prior to becoming a nurse, she shifted her career focus to improving the lives of children with developmental delays and medical fragility. In 2012, she realized her true passion of breastfeeding education. She attended UCSD-Extension to become a Certificated Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC) and continued to become an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2015. After being mentored by and working with another amazing IBCLC, Jennifer Ritchie of Milkalicious Inc, Trish decided to focus on women's health aboard Camp Pendleton, and recently has relocated to Sneads Ferry, NC. She has dedicated herself to not only treating and supporting breastfeeding women, but also thoroughly educating them about the issues affecting their quality of life. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Psychology in 2016 and continues to advance her professional knowledge while attending University of Southern California (USC) to obtain a Master's Degree in Public Health. Trish has been married to her active duty Marine husband for 13 years. They have two boys, ages 5 and 7, two cats, three dogs, and several fish. She enjoys spending her (nonexistent) spare time playing games with her children and telling jokes with her husband. ;)
